Fast track towards ISO certification
In less than six months, Navitech has achieved the goal of becoming ISO-certified according to 9001. It’s a quality stamp indicating that the company’s work processes and fundamental stability are on the right track.
– Our unique business idea is reflected in our way of working and our management system. The certification shows our customers that we take quality very seriously, says Niclas Jonsson, CEO of Navitech.
Already when Navitech was started, Niclas aimed to ISO-certify the company’s project model and management system. In the summer of 2023, Malin Eriksson Wenell was hired as the HSE manager to, among other things, develop the work on internal processes. In October last year, the project for certification was initiated, and on March 21, it became clear that the goal had been achieved.
– It’s quite unique for a company to set up processes, project models, and management systems according to standards before the business has been up and running for a while. But for us, it’s a quality stamp that allows both us and our customers to feel secure with an approach where the focus is on delivery quality and customer satisfaction, says Malin.
Continuous improvements and “lessons learned” are something that permeates the entire project model and management system.
– The entire management system is built on continuous development. We conduct ‘lessons learned’ continuously during projects to constantly learn and evolve. The purpose is to be able to assist the customer in the best possible way, says Malin.
– Since I have started several companies over the years, I wanted to build a solid foundation, in the right way, right from the start. We began by developing our project model to ensure that all processes work as we want them to and that we can deliver what we promise our customers. With the certification, we have received an external party that has assessed this, Niclas concludes.
